Extend the idea, don't restate it

Task Response at Band 7.5+ wants ideas fully extended and supported: a claim explained, backed by a concrete example, and followed to its consequence. The most common ceiling is circular writing — the same claim in fresh vocabulary, adding nothing. These items train you to spot real extension, and to rebuild a fully developed point in the only order its logic allows.
