Real essay · Band 6.5

In recent years, smartphones make a damage to social interaction. People is spending more time on screens than with each other. I strongly agree with this view. Furthermore, the consequences are felt most by kids, whose social skills develop on screens, not faces.

Questions, answered

Before you start.

How accurate is the AI score?
It grades the same four official criteria a real examiner uses, calibrated against the published IELTS Band Descriptors. Think of it as a sharp, consistent practice estimate rather than an official mark. Once we've graded enough essays to compare fairly, we'll publish the calibration numbers in the open.
How close is it to a real examiner?
Close on the criteria that are rule-like (task format, cohesion mechanics, grammar accuracy), and honest about the ones that involve judgement. The report always shows its working, so you can check the reasoning yourself.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You add a card to start, but you're not charged for three days — and if you cancel any time before the trial ends, you pay nothing at all. After three days your plan renews automatically unless you've cancelled.
Which plan should I pick?
Exam within two weeks: Weekly. Standard 1–2 month prep: Monthly — best value per essay. Retaking or aiming for a big jump: Yearly. Whichever you pick, the first 3 days are free and you can cancel any time.
Is this allowed, and could it affect my real test?
Practising with feedback tools is completely allowed. ieltsprep is independent study material — it has no connection to your official test, booking, or score.
Do you grade Task 1 as well?
Yes — Academic charts, graphs, maps and processes, and General Training letters, with the figure kept beside your editor while you write.
Do you train the AI on my essays?
No. Your essays are yours. They're stored so you can track your progress, never sold, and never used to train models.
Who's behind ieltsprep?
One person, under FrostPeak Ventures LLC (Wyoming, USA). The same person designs it, writes the code, and answers your email.
