Word forms under pressure

Knowing a word means controlling its whole family: economy, economic, economical, economically all exist, and each fits a different slot. Word-form slips ("the economical growth") are flagged in the Band 6 descriptor, so eliminating them is one of the fastest routes to Band 7 Lexical Resource. Read each sentence aloud in your head and check what part of speech the gap demands.
